Hi, Hello, this is Sadie Thompson reporting on the final trial for Homer Plessy. The justices agreed with the Louisiana Supreme Court and declared that the Separate Car Act was constitutional as long as the accommodations were the same for both whites and blacks. They said that the Act didn't in any way destroy equality between the two races. The Supreme Court acknowledged the question whether Plessy was really black or not but didn't act in it or have any other forms of acknowledgement. Even thought PLessy lost his cases numerous times, what he did was very noble. He made the country really look at the Separate Car Act and debate over whether it's constitutional or not. I hope that this issue will soon be figured out because i don't want to live in a country that thinks any kind of separation is equal.
Bye For Now,
ST
